Happy Valentines Day!

As I sit here doubled over in pain from devouring all that Valentines Day chocolate (that was oh so good by the way), I cant help to think about what a special Valentines Day it has been.

Many people have issues with the so –called Day of Love. It’s a day of commercialized cards, candy, teddy bears, roses, male enhancement products, and ultimately many people believe that the day belongs more to Hallmark than to the beauty of true love. Well, I cant convince anyone to believe in something, cause that’s not my style. But what I will say is that they’re crazy :) hehe.

Two nights ago, on the way home from work, my darling hubby got into a terrible car accident. He thank G-d made it out ok basically without a scratch and what could have been much worse was thankfully not. After calming down a bit and letting our nerves return to normal, I realized what a special valentines day it really was. It was a day that reminded me to truly appreciate that which I have and thank G-d every day for letting me enjoy His beautiful blessings.

And I think that even though people feel that VDay is commercialized, I think that they are forgetting to look beneath the surface. It’s the teddy bears and roses that help us communicate all that good stuff. It’s the roses that allow us to express our feelings when our words wont suffice. It’s the delicious chocolate (Godiva especially) that allows us to share the pleasures in life with our loved ones. And of course nothing says I love you than those male enhancement products :) :) :) (ok maybe not, but you get my point :) )

So happy valentines to all, I bless you all to find love in your life, and to appreciate the blessings that come along with it.

Happy valentines to all… and to all a good night :) :)
